| BJP to form next government at Centre, says Shanta Kumar | | | Early Times Reporter

Expressing grave concern over the steep rise in the prices of essential items during the Congress led Government, BJP National Vice-President and Prabhari, J&K Shanta Kumar said the sky rocketing prices have posed a threat to the very survival of common citizens. Even middle class families are not in a position to manage kitchen budget properly, he added.
Addressing a public rally at Bani today, he said BJP-led NDA was concerned for the common masses and was committed to ensure that every citizen, irrespective of his financial position, was in a position to manage “Roti, Kapda aur Makaan” with his earnings.
Shanta Kumar expressed confidence that the BJP will form the next government at the Centre as the people across the country have made up their mind to teach Congress a lesson for betraying them and added that BJP will work for containing the prices.
BJP State President Ashok Khajuria, in his address, said that like Congress-led UPA, the Congress-PDP coalition in the state too has failed to come up to the expectations of the people. The coalition also gave slogans of “good governance”, “work culture, “transparency” and “accountability” but could not fulfill any of its promises. He said developmental works are executed on pick and choose manner and discrimination with Jammu and Ladakh still continues.
Satish Sharma, Jagdish Raj Sapolia, Ved Mankotia, Master Lal Chand also addressed the rally. |
