| HC directs to dispose off representation within one week | | Petitioner seeks time scale promotion under ALC category | | Early Times Reporter

Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice Sunil Hali in a petition seeking directions to the respondents to consider the petitioner for induction into time scale Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) under ALC category under SRO 294 of October 21, 2005 and also seeking direction to consider the petitioner for placement AC/SDM in own pay and grade under ALC category, has issued notice to State of J&K through Chief Secretary, Commissioner/Secretary GAD and Commissioner/Secretary Revenue.
Adv SS Ahmed appearing for petitioner Ashok Kumar Sharma submitted that petitioner has filed representation regarding his promotion as collector Assistant Commissioner on the basis of reserved category.
Upon this, Justice Sunil Hali directed respondents to dispose off the representation and communicate the same to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date a copy of this order is served upon them. JNF |
