| Panthers demand dismissal of State Govt | | | Early Times Reporter

Several Panthers Party activists led by P K Ganjoo, Anita Thakur, Daljit Singh today held a massive protest in front of Raj Bhawan here demanding dismissal of PDP-Congress government for its alleged connivance to provoke ISI agenda to divide the state on communal lines.
As per a release, the protestors were demanding criminal action against Mufti and his party which is responsible of instigating the people, first enacting diversion of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and then provoking the innocent people to take on to the streets against such diversion by giving it communal harmony with ulterior motives and dangerous designs to implement ISI agenda to create communal divide with ‘Dixon’s plan’.
Panthers Party leaders said that Kashmir never had witnessed such an ugly situation as the people of Jammu and Kashmir remained firm on secular credentials even during the height of militancy in the state. They blamed the chief minister for playing dubious game of promoting PDP leaders against Amarnath Shrine and at the same time accusing PDP for sabotaging peace in the valley. Chief Minister should have dismissed PDP minister for playing communal cards and distributing peace and harmony in the state instead of blaming them, the release added. |
