| NBP to field 70 in assembly polls | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 27 National Bahujan Party has started its process of finalizing its candidates and the process would be finalized in the month of August 2008. NBP will field at least 70 candidates in J&K state and will emerge victorious in majority of the assembly segments. As per a release, no govt. will be formed without the help of NBP in J&K state and fully committed citizenship rights to west Pakistani refugees of 1947 settled in J&K state, ownership rights to the tenants of evacuee land, house and land to houseless and landless, reservation to SC/STs according to population at district, division and state level in all spheres, implementation of Mandal Commission Recommendation i.e 27% reservation to OBCs (Social Castes)in J&K state in toto in all spheres. Inclusion of Jat, Jogi, Saini and Sang Trash communities in OBC, reservation to Christians according to population proportion, horizontal reservation to upper Caste poor in J&K state, Jobs to educated youth in Govt & private sectors, jobs to local youth in the industries. End of contractor system in industries, Ending Corruption, lawlessness, religional disparity will be at the top priority & bringing this state under rule of law. On this occasion Wali Mohd. Wani, chairman Awami Tehrik merged his political outfit in NBP and pleaded to strengthen NBP in J&K state with dedication, the release added. |
