| Anti-narcotic day function organized | | | Early Times Reporter

As a part of world Anti-Narcotic Day ant Trafficking of a women, a function was organized by the social welfare department, Kargil.
As per a release, The Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Asgar Ali Karabalaie was the chief Guest on the occasion.
Five students of various educational institutions, Doctor Ahmad Ali and Advocate Ghulam Murtaza delivered speeches on the above theme and two local poets read out their papers on the topics oa Anti-drug and Trafficking of women.
In his address, the CEA, LAHDC, Kargil, Asgar Ali Karbalaie pleaded for strengthening the home as an institution and said that laws alone can not help to bring the menace of drug abuse under check. All section of the Society like parents, teachers, leaders etc have to work in coordination to bring an end to this menace, He also asked the youth to work for building a society free of drug menace.
He said that no any youth of the area indulging in such type of illegal practice by the grace of almighty so far, but he cautioned the youth to avoid from such bad manner and kept acquainted him self with the day to day happening.
The CEA, Karbalaie disturbed the prizes of those students who spoke on the occasion the release added. |
