Security forces have arrested a Pakistani national in R S Pura sector of Jammu division, sources said on Saturday.
The Pakistani citizen was arrested by Border Security Force personnel after being spotted between zero line and fencing near Bhudwar border outpost on the evening of June 26, they said.
During questioning, he revealed his name as Barkat Ali of Alisa tehsil in Sialkot district, the sources said. Since he was not specific about the village and the tehsil to which he belonged, it is presumed that he was mentally unsound, they added.
However, he has been handed over to police yesterday for further investigation. |
