Nowshera, Jan 5: People of Qila Darhal hold protest against Naib tehsildar Qila Darhal Mohd. Quim and division forest officer (DFO) Nowshera Suresh Manda for evicting Sikh people form their lands without any map. They alleged that corrupt officers naib tehsildar and DFO Nowsehra is giving a great loss only Sikh community of Qila Darhal with changed their lands records and want to safe land grabbers and also demanded to enquire this scame by CBI.
This protest was under the chairmanship of Balbir Singh, Ravinder Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Malwinder Singh, Paramjeet Singh and others.
Protesters said very sarrow to see this bad news who safe the areas of Nowshera from Pakistanis in 1947 but now forest department evicting from their own lands in Qila Darhal. People alleged that in two years division forest officer Nowshera evicted 07 Sikh families namely Hoshiar Singh evicted and fanced his agricultural land in 2016 Bacchitar Singh, 2017, in 2019 Kan Singh, Jai Singh, Sewa Singh, and in 2020 forest department fancing the land of Charan Singh not took action to others gujjar people who encroached hundreds kanal forest land. People alleged that Naib tehsildar Qila Darhal & DFO Nowshera has took a large bribe from others so he couldn't take any action on Gujjars. They urge to governor of Jammu and Kashmir for quickly enquiry this scam. Protesters also said that tehsil Qila Darhal is hub of corruption. A photo has been viral in social media gardwar of Qila Darhal Makbool Chowdary taking bribe for making ALC certificate when some social workers asked him he said we divided this money to tehsildar Naib tehsildar of this tehsil and he also said we took 20 thousand rupees for each certificate many crore rupees collected by revenue department in Qila Darhal from border area's people.
According from actual reports Shaheed Garh Qila Darhal is very famous place who born freedom fighter people and safe the 200 kilometers radius area from Pakistan in 1947. Then many Sikh lay down their life for own motherland and safe Qila Darhal, Lam, Pukhrni, Jhanger, Kanara, Nonial, Rajpur Bhatta & Nowshera from Pakistan Pathans. They said but now forest department,s division forest officer (DFO) Nowshera Suresh Manda harassing only Sikh people of Qila Darhal with evicting their lands and fancing without map. From two days forest guard Subash Chander fancing land of poor people Charan Singh and also remove all items from his house. Former state president of Bajrang Dal AHP leader Sushil Suden strongly condemned for forest department Nowshera and revenue department of Qila Darhal he said DFO Suresh Manda and naib tehsildar Qila Darhal Mohd. Quim want to settle to Gujjar people in forest areas.
Suden said thousands of kanal forest land encroached by Gujjars and Bakkar bal and many illegal saw mills also running in Nowshera, Sunderbani. These people were came from Mendhar, Surankote and built hundreds of houses in forest areas in Thalka, Rajpur Bhatta, Qila Darhal, Pukhrni, Bir Budeshavir area and giving a great loss to forest and also broken fancing. He said we will register the case against these officers in different court who is doing a large scame in lands of martyrs. At last they urge to L.G. Gerish Chander Murmu for took action and immediately transfer these officers.
