| HC stays operation of impugned orders replacing CRPs/ZRPs | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 28 Vacation Judge of J&K High Court Jammu Wing Justice Sunil Hali in a petition filed by 29 CRPs /ZRPs challenging the order of Director School Education to replace all CRPs/ ZRPs of Jammu Province, has issued notice to Chief Secretary J&K, Secretary to Government Education Department, Director School Education Jammu, State Project Director Sharva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) J&K, Jammu, CEOs of Udhampur and Samba and seven ZEOs of District Udhampur and Samba and stayed the operation of the impugned orders of October 23, 2007 and May 17, 2008. Court also clarified that this order is, however, subject to objections from the other side. In the petition it has been submitted that the petitioners, who were appointed as teachers in the Education Dept and are attached SSA scheme for the last 3 to 5 years as Zonal Resources Persons and Clustral Resource Persons and the Government has spent huge amount for imparting them training of imparting elementary education, so as to achieve cent percent literacy ratio. The petitioners in their petition have sought quashment of decision taken by the Committee selected by Secretary Education Department as also quashment of order DESJ/PA dated May 17, 2008 issued by Director School Education Jammu by which a direction was issued to all CEOs of Jammu Province to replace all CRPs/ZRPs and also to quash order dated May 21, 2008 issued by the CEO Udhampur by which the CEO asked the ZEOs District Udhampur to submit the service particulars of teachers having qualification of trained graduate/ post-graduate of all CRPs/ZRPs and also seeking quashment of decision taken by the Committee headed by Secretary Education which was held on October 17, 2007 and October 23, 2007 and also seeking directions to respondents to allow the petitioners to continue work as Zonal Resources Persons / Clustral Resource Persons and to pay salary to the petitioners under the scheme.
