A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ram Sahai, president of Commerce & Industry which was attended by the representatives of different trades. As per a release, in the meeting the matter regarding on going yatra was discussed. Members present expressed their satisfaction over the arrangements being made at Jammu by the civil authorities and security agencies but they also rented their feelings or anguish over the repeated disruption in the smooth running of due to continuous disturbance in the valley where some elements are not sparing even the yatries from being their targets. It is disunfortunate that when the entire valley is humming with tourist activities and all sections of the business society over there getting great boost in the business but the entire process has received a great set back.
Sahai made an emotional appeal to the business community of Jammu for extending full cooperation and help to the yatries by charging them fair prices for the commodities and services rendered to them, the release added. |
