| LJSP activists burn Mufti’s, Baig’s effigies | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | June 29
A large number of workers of J&K unit of Lok Jan Shakti party, today held a protest demonstration outside the PDP office at Jammu, holding the party responsible for violence let loose in Kashmir by the secessionists and religious fundamentalists.
The demonstrators who were led by State Party President Rafiq Malik, Secretary General Surjeet Singh, General Secretary Dayal Singh, Youth LJS President Gurmeet Pandey, Women Wing President Sudesh Puri and Secretary M R Puri burnt the effigies of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Mehbooba Mufti, Muzaffar Hussain Baig and Hurriyat leaders. Holding all of them responsible for hoisting of Pak flags in Kashmir and raising of anti India slogans by the mobs there, they demanded immediate arrest of Mufti Sayeed, Mehbooba Mufti, Muzaffar Hussain Baig as well as leaders of Hurriyat Conference and other secessionist leaders in Kashmir. |
