CII Delegation Calls on Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce

JAMMU, Jan 10: A delegation led by Rajesh Sharma, Chairman CII J&K Council and Managing Director SRA Food & Beverages Pvt Ltd. called upon Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, Commissioner Secretary to Government, Industries and Commerce Department, Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation apprised Manoj Kumar Dwivedi about the issues being facing by Industrial Members and has requested him to take up the concern. The issues that were discussed the delegation include speeding up of release of payment to MSME units Maintenance and developmental of strategic essential commodity and Agro-based Industries in J&K, Taxing Walnut Wholes at a rate lower than on the finished product i.e. Walnut Kernels, issue of disparity with respect to GST refund/ Budgetary Support faced by the existing manufacturing units in Jammu and Kashmir.
The delegation was given a patient hearing by Manoj Kumar Dwivedi to all the issues and assured that the department is working speedily towards resolving all genuine concerns of the industry.
The CII delegation also include Waseem Trumboo, Trumboo Industries Pvt. Ltd Ravnish Gulati, Gulati Oil Mills, Asif Burza, Ahad Hotels and Resorts, Gagan Jain, Veejay Traders and Arun P Gupta, Everest Paints.
