Jagat Guru Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ji documentary released

JAMMU, Jan 10: Documentary film entitled "Jagat Guru Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ji" based on the book of same title by the late S. N. Fotedar was released today at Abhinav Theater Jammu. The function was organized by Vomed Rangmanch and Bhagwan Gopi Nath Ji Satsang Mandal jointly and the function started with the welcome address by Rohit Bhatt, Director Vomed Rangmanch, which was followed by lighting of the traditional lamp by, Piyare Malla, and Piyare Hangloo.
The DVD version of the film was launched by the devotees of the Bhagwan ji which was followed by the screening of the film.
The presenter of the film Dr. Sushil Wattal gave a brief about the life and teachings of the Bhagwaan Ji. Ashok Fotedar grandson of the late S.N.Fotedar, on whose book the film is based, also expressed his pleasure over the venture and spoke about the devotion towards Bhagwaan ji.
The film, a maiden venture on the subject, has been directed by Vijay Wali and a team of 50 people including actors, cameramen, sound recordists, technicians, set designers, make-up artists and others who had worked for two years on the making of the documentary. The documentary film based on the life history and miracles of Bhagwaan Gopi Nath Ji has been shot on the actual locations in Kashmir valley and is a documentation of the places associated with Bahgwaan Gopi Nath Ji and also contains dramatized version of some of the events related to him, wherein artistic efforts have been made through designed sets, properties and costumes to re-create the nostalgic era of his times.
