| Natrang stages ‘Hamen Bolne Do’ | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | June 29 “Hamen Bolne Do” a play written by Rajesh Kumar and Directed by Anil Tickoo was presented at Natrang Studio in its weekly series of Sunday Theatre here today. The play is a satire on the present political scenario wherein media is being utilized by some leaders for highlighting their own image and whenever it brings the social evils prevailing in the society in highlight; it is stopped by the leaders and they (leaders) call it yellow journalism. The play provokes a kind of responsibility in the audience to stand up against such leaders who don’t want that the real picture of the society should come in the Newspapers. The directors has tried to relate the play with prevailing situation in the state by use the news headlines of the land row in Kashmir. Mohit Sharma as Neta and Rohit Verma as Police man professionally handled these typical characters and were appreciated by the audience Gaurav Jamwal, Ankush Lakhnotra, Rahul Singh and Vijay Koul played the roles of general public and press reporters, gave an energetic performance. Arvind Singh as Hawker also did justice to his character. Light of the play were professionally handled by Mohd. Yaseen. Next Sunday Natrang is going to stage its play “Mind Games” at Amritsar. |
