| Brutal Murder of RT Teacher on the day of her matrimonial engagement at Keller Pulwama | | | Srinagar, September 1: The brutal murder of a Rehbar-e-Taleem teacher on the day of her matrimonial engagement has gripped fear among people at Kellar Pulwama. During the murder, father and maternal brother of the deceased ReT teacher was beaten black and blue and they are battling for life in a hospital. Reports reaching Srinagar indicate that 24 year old Mansoor Ahmed Parray S/O Ab Ahad R/O Pehlipora Kellar Pulwama , his father Ab Ahad and maternal brother Muzaffar Ahmed Jan S/O Gh Nabi R/O Barzulla Srinagar had gone to nearby podder forest area for purchasing mutton in connection with his own and his sister's proposed matrimonial engagement. Three armed youth interrupted them while moving down from the forest area at 7.00 P.M late in the evening and they checked their identity cards. The armed youth suspected Muzaffar Ahmed Jan and tried to take him away, but ReT teacher Mansoor Ahmed told them that Muzaffar Ahmed Jan is his maternal brother and has come to see his family in connection with his own and his sister's proposed matrimonial engagement and some more relatives have come to his residence to celebrate the occasion. However the armed youth still tried to take Muzaffar Ahmed Jan with them, and when ReT teacher Mansoor Ahmed resisted the move, the armed youth thrashed Muzaffar Jan severely. The ReT teacher Mansoor Ahmed protested against thrashing of Muzaffar Jan and his father scuffled with the armed youth. Meanwhile Muzaffar Jan was thrashed so severely that his condition turned very critical. The armed youth attacked ReT teacher Mansoor Ahmed with riffle butts and strangled him and in the meanwhile another attacker stabbed him in the back. He was killed on spot and his body was lying in a pool of blood. Getting an impression that both ReT teacher Mansoor Ahmed Parray and his maternal brother Muzaffar Jan got killed, the attackers fled from the trouble spot. Some local Gujarrs incidentally while traveling on the route spotted three bodies and after proper identification shifted them to Kellar Pulwama where Mansoor Ahmed Parray was found dead , but his maternal brother and father were found breathing. The locals shifted them to District Hospital Pulwama from where they were referred to SMHS hospital Srinagar. SHO Rajpora Pulwama, when contacted told KNS that a case U/S 302 vide FIR No: 144/06 stands has been registered and investigation of the identification of killers is in progress. |
