| Kapur, Khoda visit holy cave | | | Early Times Reporter Pahalgam | June 30 On the instructions of Chief Minister, the Chief Secretary S.S. Kapur, Director General of Police Kuldeep Khoda, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mehboob Iqbal along with Director Tourism Farooq Shah and DIG Police Mohammad Subhan today visited Baltal, Holy Cave and Pahalgam to take stock of the arrangements made for the yatris and facilities available to them at various stations The Chief Secretary also convened a meeting of officers at Pahalgam and Baltal to review the facilities and requirements for the yatries. He impressed upon the officers to work with more dedication for the smooth and hassle free Yatra for the devotees. He said that government has a main role to play for the successful Yatra adding that it is therefore responsibility of all those connected with the Yatra to ensure that the yatries do not confront any difficulty on the approach routes up to Holy Cave. The Chief Secretary while interacting with the yatries informed them that the people of Kashmir are actively contributing their role for ensuring smooth and successful Yatra. He said Kashmiris have always extended their all possible help to the yatries if found in any difficulty adding that Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra is a shining symbol of secular traditions of the Kashmiri people. |
