Praja Parishad today said that the secular minded people and minorities in particular are shocked over the action taken by Governer N N Vohra with regards transfer of land allotted to Shrine board at Baltal Kashmir for the pilgrims.
Addressing media persons here today Chander Mohan Sharma, president Praja Parishad said that the communal face of PDP has been exposed for petty political gain and as such Jammu people will never forget them. He added that all the front leaders of PDP be put behind bars for spreading communal hatred and exploiting sentiments of the people. He said PDP is fully responsible in killing of three innocent persons beside injuries to hundreds of civilians and policeman. He said nobody is against the yatra, except PDP, and asked the Jammu based leaders and workers of PDP to leave party or face social boycott.
Sharma said the action taken by Governor proves his surrender before the communal forces which also shows that he is a weak Governor and is not in a position to handle situation created by anti-national forces in the Valley.
Among others present in the press conference were Som Mangotra, Arvind Sharma, Romesh Sharma, Arun Rajwal, Kaka Seth and Janam Dass Shastri. |
