Jammu | July 1
In a meeting held by Muslim Federation under their President, Abdul Majid, to discuss the on going crisis in the state, Majid lamented the action of Govt and different political parties for creating a messy situation in the state for their narrow political interest over the grant of land to SASB. He stated that it is worst sort of political immorality to sit in cabinet and approve a decision and subsequently back out from such decision.
He also appreciated the general masses in Jammu and Kashmir for their secular outlook and approach who always maintained high traditions of communal harmony and brotherhood even at the time of worst provocation. He also appealed the kashmiri Muslims to stand true to their secular approach and ensure the safety and security of yatris who are respected guests in the state.
Others who attended the meeting included, HA Siddqui, Qazi Talat Niaaz, Akram Ahmed, Naseer Ahmed, Ch. Bhar-ud-din and Ch. Jamat Ali.
