J&K taem Karate players excelled in the Indo- Nepal Karate-Do Championship held at 22nd June to 28th June held in Nepal. Seven players from J&K State had participated under the supervision of Master Sunny Nanda. Ahito Ryu Karate –Do India team won 35 medals , 9gold, 11 silver, 15 bronze and similar team had won 2 gold, 2 silver, 4 bronze . Sunny Nanda , Coach of the team was also presented with Best official India team .
Atul and Pankaj bagged gold medals, Rhea Tikku and Parth Sharma bagged silver medla while Payal ,Bhupinder and Gurmukh and Parth bagged bronze medals.
Next karate championship will be held on July 23 at Bhutan. |
