JKNDF condemns police action, seeks probe

Addressing a demonstration by Kashmiri Hindu youth at muthi the JKNDF today strongly condemned the police action against the peaceful demonstrators in Jammu. The Working president of the Party A K Dewani demanded judicial probe into the police action and punishment to those who are responsible for this in human act. Describing the
Cancellation of land allotted to the Amarnath Shrine Board as a surrender before the religious fanatics of valley , the party decided to launch an agitational programme against the action of the state government.
The details of the programme are being worked out . Addressing the meeting Mr. Dewani said that at the one hand the government is busy in appeasing the religious extremists on the other it has imposed an emergency like situation to suppress the democratic rights of the people. It urged all political parties to come forward and join hands against the policies of the Azad led state government , who are bent upon to divide the society in the name of religion for electoral gains.
