| PRM condemns police firing on demonstration | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 1 PRM has strongly condemned police firing on protesting people in Muthi in which three youths have got injuries. As per a press release, expressing gratitude towards public for their wholehearted unconditional support to Jammu bandh, PRM cautioned people to beware of opportunistic and vested interests trying to draw political mileage out of the sentiments and emotions of Jammu people. PRM also stated that governments must read the writing on the wall and learn lesson from the unprecedented protest, demonstrations and blockades from every nook and corner of Jammu and must not surrender and succumb to the blackmailing and exploitative posture of Kashmiri separatists and political leaders. PRM leader Rajinder Jamwal said that most unfortunate part of present crisis is that so called intellectual and political parties leaders of Kashmir are playing very dangerous game plan which has virtually divided the society on communal lines. Jamwal said that the role of Congress in the present crisis is no less than perfidious. Meanwhile, PRM activists today held a strong protest demonstration at Kacchi Chawni where they burnt the effigy of state govt and other leaders of Kashmir. |
