Residents of Gujjar Nagar and its surrounding areas today held an emergency meeting. In the meeting, the residents expressed their anguish over reported incident in a local daily about the slogans raised in Gujjar Nagar. Rafiq Malik, state president, LJSP while talking to Early Times said he found the news item as totally untrue and mischievous and added that people in the area are living in peace and no one would be allowed to communalize the situation. He further said that Muslims and Hindus living in Jammu are one and no one can separate them. “We will fight those who will try to divide us on communal lines,” he added.
