ECPFWA demands grant of benefit, concessions at par with Defence Forces

JAMMU, Jan 22: Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association (ECPFWA) RS Pura Jammu called a meeting here today at Green Belt Park Gandhi Nagar. The meeting was held under DK Chauhan General Secretary of the Association.
The meeting demanded to grant benefits and concessions at par extended to Defence Force adding that the central paramilitary forces too face the enemy and sacrifice with the same vigour, valour and patriotism and suffer consequences like Defence Forces but the benefits and concessions are not being extended to Armed Forces working under Ministry of Home Affairs which is against the law and the ethics of natural justice. It was demanded that pension scheme should be implemented to the Paramilitary personnel who have been appointed after 2004 on the same lines which has been adopted for the Armed Forces of Ministry of Defence.
The others who too were present included KS Bist Joint Secretary, Gurbachan Singh District President Samba, Noor Mohd Gen-Secretary Distt. Samba Sh. Gurdayal Singh President District Jammu, Harbans Lal Sharma Vice President, Jagar Nath Tehsil President R.S.Pura, Mohinder Singh State Secretary, Ashok Kumar and others.
