Workshop on stress management organised

Kathua, Jan 22: As a part of Fit India Programme initiated by Ministry of Human Resource, Govt. of India and to overcome the stress and anxiety, a workshop on Stress Management and Concentration Development was organised at Nav Adrsh Hr. Sec. School, Kathua .
Aiming to guide the students on how to relieve themselves from stress in order to excel in the fields chosen by them, the workshop was addressed by Kr. Abhimanyu Dev Singh Bollawria, Lecturer, UIET, Kathua Campus. While addressing the students Kr. Abhimanyu said that anxiety is a part of human nature, but it is important to know how to overcome it.“Youngsters most of the time find it difficult to face the changes and to cope up with such variations. Hence, this leads to stress, anxiety and tension.” He explained the students about different factors of exam related stress. And then he also suggested them different stress management techniques like self motivation, goal setting, learning and revision strategy, consistency and time management. He also emphasised about the stress relaxation therapies like meditation, exercise and water retention that could be followed by the students. It was an interactive session in which the students asked their various queries on stress management.
