Thousands of the protestors gathered outside police station Garota and pelted stones at the police station. Shouting slogans against police authorities they alleged that police has held nine protestors and are misbehaving with them. Pertinent to mention here that yesterday some protestors blocked national highway Rehari and city police held nine protestors identified as Ramesh Arora, BJP spokesman Arun Kumar, corporator, Vinod Bali, Shingara Singh, Sanjeev Bali, Om Prakash, Bubnesh Gupta, Munish Kumar and locked them up at Garota Police Station. Today thousands of the protestors gathered outside Garota Police Station and pelted stones at it when police refused to release them. It is also reported that protestors manhandled with cops. Later the matter was pacified only when SHO persuaded the protestors and handed the held persons over to Police Station Pacca Danga. |
