| Sikh group welcomes order on land transfer | | | Amritsar | July 1 Radical Sikh outfit Dal Khalsa today termed the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet's decision to revoke the transfer of land to Amarnath Shrine as a "victory of Kashmiri people's steadfastness and dedicated efforts". In a statement issued here today, senior leaders of the organization H S Dhami and Kanwarpal Singh Bittu lauded the role and efforts of the Kashmiris for remaining vigilant. Reacting to remarks by senior BJP leader L K Advani that his party would make the Amarnath land row a poll issue, the leaders accused him of communalizing the politics. |
