1/25/2020 11:06:06 PM
Early Times Report
DANSAL, Jan 25: National Conference Provincial President Devender Singh Rana today sought focussed development, employment generation, fast track recruitment process and expeditious initiation of political activities in Jammu and Kashmir, saying these will go a long way towards satiation of the aspirations of the youth.
"Concerns of youth need priority attention in terms of providing jobs by undertaking fast track recruitment to fill up the whopping number of vacancies", Rana said during public interactions while undertaking extensive tour of Jandrah, Dhan, Nagola, Kattalbatal and Dhok Waziran panchayats of Nagrota Assembly Constituency.
Rana shared the anxiety of youth over burgeoning unemployment rate as also their concerns about the ambiguity on the recruitment process due to fears being generated on jobs going to be filled on all India basis thus shrinking the avenues for locals. Such apprehensions add to the anxieties of already stressed unemployed, he said adding these fears are needed to be eschewed by declaring a clear cut policy, as this phenomenon can further retard the dash and drive of youth who are already feeling marginalized and
Rana also sought lifting of curbs on communication completely in the larger interest of trade, commerce, industry, tourism sector besides health and educational development.
Prominent among those who accompanied the Provincial President during his Constituency visit included Som Nath Khajuria, Pt Rameshwar Dutt, Subash Singh, Master Ranjit Singh, Kishori Lal, Kulbhushan Singh, Mohan Lal, Mohan Singh, Balwant Singh, Ram Parshotam Sharma, Kaushal Khajuria, Ajju, Lal Chand, Mohammed Salim, Sher Ali and others.
Rana exhorted the National Conference cadre to shoulder their crucial responsibilities toward people and remain in the forefront at the times of need. He said National Conference has a chequered history of public service and it's role in upholding the dignity and identity of the people, irrespective of religion and region cannot be ignored or undermined. This spirit is not only to be sustained but promoted as well by strengthening the bonds of amity and brotherhood, he added.
Later a deputation of Valmiki Samaj, led by Suresh Kumar and others also met the Provincial President at Dhok Waziran and highlighted various issues.
