A procession of Jammu State Morcha (P) under the leadership of Prof. Virender Gupta and Digvijay Singh was taken out seeking returning 800 kanal land back to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board; dismissal of Gulam Nabi Azad Govt.
The JSM activist alleged that by taking away 800 kanal land from the Shrine Board and transferring the same to tourism department while succumbing to the pressure of secessionist, anti-India and anti-Jammu, pro-Pak and fundamentalist forces of the Valley, the Govt lead by Azad was incompetent to handle the situation.
The procession started from Bari-Brahmna and passed through villages Bodori, Suchaini, Raya, Baguna and ended at Gurah Salathia. While addressing the gatherings the leaders of the Morcha appealed to the people to maintain peace and communal harmony at all cost. The said that this a fight between the fundamentalist, anti- Jammu and communal Kashmiri leadership and the Secular Jammu region.
Therefore, it has to be ensured that all the communities of Jammu region fight unitedly against the Kashmiri misrule and injustice. They also emphasized that the Yatris to Baba Amarnath and those to Mata Vaishno Devi should not be put to hardships because of our rowdy actions. |
