| Brahmin Federation supports Bharat bandh | | | Early Times Reporter

All India Brahmin Federation has extended its whole hearted support to the call for general strike all over India for July 3, given by Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
In a joint press release issued here today by the national president of All India Brahmin Federation, Prof. Devinder Sharma, along with some other Brahmin leaders of Jammu including Inderjeet Khajuria, chief patron of J-K branch federation, Ajit Bahadur Sharma, M L Sharma, V P Sharma and Satpal Kranti, they appealed to all the members of Brahmin community all over the country to fully observe the strike and actively join any action plan and agitational program launched by the VHP in the country to safeguard the religious interest of the minority Hindu community in J&K.
They also condemned the government action in hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindus in the state and all over the country by yielding before the anti-Hindu religious tirade let loose by the religious fundamentalists and secessionist in Kashmir, the release added. |
