| Stones pelted at minister’s school | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 3 Irate over the decision of the Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad led government to revoke the land allotment order, thousands of protestors under the banner of the different political parties pelted stones on Dogra Higher Secondary school at Shastri Nagar and broke window panes besides held protest demonstration at different areas of the Gandhi Nagar constituency. Pertinet to mention the school is owned by Hr Education minister Gulchain Singh Charak. Shouting slogans against government they said that Jammu based minister and legislatures are hungry for power and thus are not supporting the cause. They demanded dismissal of Azad government. Stones were also pelted at Gangyal police when police resorted to lathi charge over the protesters to disperse them. Over ten protestors reportedly got injuries. |
