| Bhim calls on PM, seeks governor’s rule | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 2 Bhim Singh, Chairman-JKNPP called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and apprised him about the deteriorating situation in Jammu and Kashmir besides urging for immediate intervention of the Centre by imposing Governor’s rule in the interest of the security of the state and integrity of the country. As per a press release, Bhim pleaded strongly for the imposition of Governor’s rule in J&K without any delay lest the fundamentalist and communal elements disturb communal harmony in J&K and in rest of the country. The Panthers Party Chief also informed the Prime Minister that the present government headed by Ghulam Nabi Azad has failed to govern and has lost confidence of the people. He further told the Prime Minister that change of guards shall not help the situation and therefore, he urged for the governor rule saying that it is the only way out to take the people of Jammu and Kashmir into confidence and save the state from further death and destruction, the release added.
