| Army Commander reviews security scenario | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | July 3
Lt Gen TK Sapru, Army Commandeer, Western Command arrived here in Jammu today for an official three days visit to the Tiger Division and other formations of the division.
GOC Tiger Division, Maj Gen DL Chowdhary, received the Army Commander at the Technical Area and briefed him about the events of Jammu. Soon thereafter, the Army Commander visited one of the formations in the sector and carried out detailed interaction with Commanders at all levels.
During the visit, the Army Commander also interacted with few Government officials. He also reviewed the security situation obtaining in Jammu and areas around and conveyed his directions to meet the challenges of the present sensitive scenario. The Army Commander is scheduled to meet many senior military commanders to discuss other Army related issues. |
