District president of Congress Rirzin Spalbar though refused to divulge in party’s poll strategy, he admitted about frequent meetings among local party members about the assembly elections. “Metings do occur frequently, but the important decisions regarding crucial matters like elections take place at state level of the party,” Spalbar said.
He, however, asserted that the Congress party will definitely field their candidates from both Leh and Nurba constituencies.
Meanwhile, the District Election Officer, Leh, M.K Vhandari along with Nodal Officer Sonam Gyaltson, Additional Deputy Commissioner, ERO Sh. Surat Sing, AERO and other election officer have already conducted one-day booth officer (BLO) trainings of Leh, Kharu and Khaltsc blocks.
M K Bhandari who is also the Deputy Commissioner, Leh stressed on time bound completion of entire exercise as per the directions and guidelines of Election Commission of India, the release added. |
