| Man burnt to death, wife suspected | | | Ghaziabad | July 3
The mother of a man burnt to death has alleged that he was murdered by his wife and her paramour, but the police here say they are still investigating the case.
Dinesh, 32, an ice trader, suffered serious burn injuries June 29 in Jagatpuri area of Modi Nagar and was taken to a hospital in Delhi where he died Tuesday, the police said.
His wife Ram Kali claimed that her husband set himself on fire. But the victim's mother alleged that Ram Kali and her lover Sonu were to blame for the death.
The police have not registered a case. One officer said: "We are studying the case and will initiate action if there is truth in the complaint." |
