In made race of getting higher education degrees to enhance your employability, don’t bank on the Universities which may land you in trouble. In Jammu and other parts of the state hundreds of study centers of various universities are operating offering easy degrees for a price. However, the government has asked people to beware of such fake education shops.
Following a communiqué of the Union Human Resource Development Ministry, the Jammu and Kashmir government has released a list of fake universities.
An official spokesman said that the Union Ministry of Human Resources Development has circulated the following list of fake universities for the general public information especially for the students so that they are not hood winked to seek admissions in these universities and ruin their career.
The state wise list of fake universities as on 04-12-2007 are Maithili Univeristy/Vishwavidyalaya, Darbhanga, Bihar, Varanaseya Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya, Varanasi (UP) Jagatpuri, Delhi, Commercial University Ltd. Daryaganj, Delhi, United Nations University, Delhi, Vocational University, Delhi, ADR-Centric Juridicial University, ADR House, 8J, Gopala Tower, 25 Rajendra Place, New Delhi-110008.
Badaganvi Sarkar World Open University Education Society, Gokak, Belgaum, Karnataka, St. John's Univeristy, Kishanattam, Kerala, Keserwani Vidyapith, Jabalpur MP, Raja Arabic University, Nagpur, D.D.B. Sanskrit University, Putur,Trichi, Tamil Nadu.
