| Corporator sent to judicial lock-up | | | Early Times Reporter

Sheela Handoo Koul, Corporator who was arrested by the Domana police was today produced in the Court of Duty Magistrate Jammu for remand.
In the remand application it was mentioned that the said corporator was arrested under sections 436 RPC, 147/148 and 188 CRPC.
In the meanwhile a bail application has been filed for grant of bail of the corporator.
Duty Magistrate Special Municipal Magistrate MS Parihar directed the police to file report in the bail application and granted judicial remand up to July 13 and sent to her to judicial lock-up.
It is worthwhile to mention here that section 436 RPC is exclusively triable by the Sessions Court. JNF |
