| KPs form action group in Capital to fight for land to SASB | | | New Delhi | July 5
Several Kashmiri Pandit groups based in Delhi and NCR today formed an Amarnath Action Group (AAG) the purpose of which will be to launch an ongoing agitation against the government for its alleged partial and biased role in the ongoing Amarnath land impasse .In a hurriedly convened meeting of various cultural, social and political groups the idea of a common platform was evolved.
The group in a release announced that it will carry out a rally against the government tomorrow.It has been painful that while the government was so lax in dealing with Kashmiri Muslims when they were agitating yet the same government is leaving no stone unturned in breaking the agitation by using excessive force and adopting various means like cutting electricity,water and even phone connections.The Kashmiri Muslims were allowed to vandalize and carry out their propaganda of hate without any government action yet the peaceful protestors in Jammu were beaten,tear gassed and fired at.
We wish to tell our brethren in Jammu that we are with them in this hour of their agitation.We applaud the effort that they are making to withstand the brute force the weak kneed Government.The Chief Minister and the Governor seem to be slaves of the Islamic separatists like PDP and Hurriyat.We wish to reiterate to our friends in Jammu(both Dogras and as well as Kashmiri Pandits) that we shall support their initiative till the government of Jammu and Kashmir does not transfer the land back to the SASB.
The Action Group will raise the awareness among the common Indians towards the issue and will let people know how the Congress Government has shamed itself by surrendering to the Islamic Fundamentalists.We will let the people know how a separatist agenda is being pushed in the Valley through parties who claim to have faith in Indian Constitution.
The Amarnath Action Group(AAG) shall carry out a series of rallies against the government apart from carrying out corner meetings and press briefs.The organizations who form the part of the group are Roots in Kashmir,Panun Kashmir,KP Association Noida,Kashmiri Sewak Samaj Faridabad,All India Kashmiri Samaj,Kashmiri Pandit United Forum,Panun Kashmir Youth Front,Jammu Kashmir National Democratic Front,Panun Kashmir Movement,KP Association North and West Delhi,KP Association,Shalimar Garden,KP Association Gurgaon and KP Association Pamposh. |
