| CM meets Governor | | | Early Times Reporter
Srinagar | July 5
Chief Minister Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad called on Governor, Mr N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan and briefed him in detail about the overall law and order situation in the State. The meeting lasted for about two hours.
The Governor and the Chief Minister appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to maintain amity and brotherhood. They stressed on restoration of normalcy and urged leaders from all shades of life to rise to the occasion and help in restoring order.
Vohra described the people of Jammu and Kashmir inheritors of a glorious ethos and lauded them for withstanding the test of times in maintaining pluralistic character of the state despite provocations by vested interests. |
