Hakla also demanded to Govt. of India for sanctioning the special package for providing of basic facilities of life like road communication, electricity, water supply schemes, medical facilities and educational facilities in the areas that are inhabited by Gujjars Bakarwals in J&K. Hakla also appealed to the Govt. of India for including Gojri language in the 8th Schedule of the constitution of India. This would ensure the development and spread of Gojri language. Hakla further said that the Gojri language is being spoken by a very large number population of Gujjars Bakarwals of Jammu & Kashmir the number of which goes over many lakhs which in no way could be ignored and their only mother language is Gojri. Therefore, keeping in view the demand of such a huge number of population of Gujjars Bakarwals of Jammu & Kashmir the inclusion of Gojri language in the 8th schedule of Constitution of India, is most genuine and justified, he added. |
