Pathania exhorts officers for special focus on far-flung, neglected areas

RAMNAGAR, Feb 16: Harping on the golden rule enunciated by Pt Deendayal Ji, 'Last man in the last row', Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson J & K BJP, concluded a three-day tour of the area while taking a firsthand overview of the public issues related to drinking water, electricity, road connectivity, healthcare, education facilities.
Pathania impressed upon the line officers as well as different departments to ensure maximum presence in far flung and neglected areas of Ramnagar. As these areas have been bearing the brunt of under-development and administrative neglect since a pretty long time due to their tough terrain, rugged topography, lower economic, health and educational levels of the people living over there. He further exhorted on the people to maintain better liaison with official machinery and try to
get maximum benefits out of public welfare schemes and programmes. He also called upon the officers to keep stationed at their headquarters in the area and keep updated about their movements, if any. He also asked them to display, in advance, their movements in various far-flung areas so at people could take maximum benefit out of public utility schemes and programmes.
While pointing the case of Basantgarh where the post of SDM as well as Tehsildar is vacant since long. He called for its fill-in at the earliest so that people do not face undue inconveniences. He further called for connecting of Basantgarh-Khaned road to Macchedi/Lohai-Malhar in Kathua district and expediting work on Dudu to Kailash road thereby create an effective road-links for the peoples of three districts separated from each other by geographical barriers.
