Natrang stages Hindi play “Faisla”

Jammu, Feb 16: Natrang today presented a new hindi play ‘Faisla’ written by Pratap Sehgal and directed by Neeraj Kant in its weekly theatre series ‘Sunday Theatre’.
The play “Faisla” is about the woman respect, conflict with sacraments and duality of a girl, who is in love with two boys, one is her colleague and another has done lot many favours to her, where she is unable to decide whom to marry and now both are pressurizing her for the early settlement.
The play opens in the office where Neeta’s colleague Dinesh is eagerly waiting for her and later during lunch break they deliberate upon the matter of marriage, where Dinesh proposes for the early marriage, but Neeta asks for some more time to contemplate about the matter and they leave the mess hall indecisively.
In the next scene Neeta meets Kailash, the other boy to whom too she loves a lot in a restaurant, where Kailash asks Neeta to leave the job, help him in the business and decide to marry him at the earliest. But here too Neeta emphasis upon some more time to come to the final conclusion regarding marriage and both of them depart irresolutely.
Then Neeta’s friend Veena comes, who is of the opinion that she is befooling both the boys and is not in love with anyone of them. Neeta’s mother in deliberations disclose that Neeta finds a few qualities of her choice in Dinesh and few in Kailash and thus she (Neeta) feels like loving both of them. She can love only one of them and the deficiency of persona she finds in one should be filled by her only.
The next day, Veena tells all about Neeta’s inner conflict to both Dinesh and Kailash separately. Now Neeta meets Kailash in a restaurant and discloses before him regarding her love affair with Dinesh. After hot deliberations, Kailash leaves Neeta alone and flees away. After sometime, Dinesh arrives and tells that he knows everything regarding her love affair with Kailash, but now he loves even more to her and wants to marry as soon as possible. Thus both of them leave the space happily.
The artists who participated in the play included; Sumit Raina as Kailash, Rishav Sharma as Dinesh, Aarti Bhagat as Neeta, Lovely Sharma as Veena, Kananpreet Kaur as Mother and Kuldeep Angral appeared in a special appearance. Music was scored by Brijesh Avtar Sharma and Lights were designed and operated by Neeraj Kant Sharma, whereas presentations were done by Mahikshit Singh and Mohd. Yaseen coordinated the show.
