President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan raking up Kashmir in his speech at Pakistan parliament has evoked sharp reaction from India. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has taken a strong note of it and has asked him not to interfere in the internal affairs of India.
Erdogan raking up Kashmir during his recent visit to Pakistan seems to be yet another attempt of Imran Khan led government to internationalize Kashmir.
Pakistan has faced defeat on all the fronts vis-a-vis Kashmir, except a few countries no one has come forward to help our neighbouring country which is at the verge of becoming bankrupt. Since August 5, 2019, when the Government of India announced its decision to reorganize Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan has left no stone unturned to tell the world that India has crossed the line. But no one has paid any heed towards what Pakistan has been saying. Entire world is aware of the fact that Pakistan is a breeding ground for terrorists and it has been bleeding India through sponsoring terror for the past three decades.
Erdogan delivering a fiery speech in Pakistan Parliament and talking about Kashmir has proved it once again that Pakistan is making last ditch attempts to keep Kashmir alive, which has slipped out of his hands.
Asking heads of other countries to talk about Kashmir seems to be a part of the strategy to tell the world that Pakistan is not alone and other countries are also supporting it. The Government of India taking more than forty envoys of different countries to J&K and showing them the true picture has punctured Pakistan’s propaganda about Kashmir being on fire post 5 August, 2019.
Comments of Turkish President are an indication that Pakistan is not ready to give up and will make every possible attempt to disrupt the peace in Jammu and Kashmir by pushing in more and more terrorists. As Pakistan has got only one tool i.e. terrorists and their masters.
Erdogan needs to be told that people of Jammu and Kashmir don’t need anyone’s help or sympathy. Nor are they dependent on any country. The agents of Pakistan, who used to advocate the cause of the neighbouring country, and used to make tall claims about J&K’s accession with Union of India being temporary are cooling their heels in different prisons. He needs to be warned that siding with Pakistan is inviting more trouble.
