Atleast One person died and forty one persons were injured in different road accidents in Jammu during last twenty four hours.
Police sources told KMT that five persons were seriously injured after a Matador JK11/ 2683 rolled down at Kandi in Rajouri and fell into a deep gorge.
All the five injured were rushed to District hospital Rajouri where one of them identified as Yousuf, S/o Nabia succumbed to his injuries.
The injured are identified as Mohd Ashraf, S/o shah Mohd, R/o Rajouri; Mustafa, S/o Mohd Ayoub; Ajaz, S/o Mohd Nazir residents of Rajouri, Mustafa, S/o Yousuf.
In another road mishap twenty five persons were injured after a matador rolled down at Raya Morh near Vijay pur.
The injured have been admitted in GMC hospital Jammu for treatment. They are identified as Sureshta, wife of Nagar Mal, resident of Karalian; Kanta Devi, W/o Thoru Ram; Darshan Lal, S/o Sadha Ram; Seema Devi, W/o Manga; Geeta Devi, W/o Rajinder Kumar; Sataya Devi, W/o Janak Raj; Manohar Lal, S/o Thoru Ram; Babu Ram, son of Khoju Ram; Reena devi, W/o Kuldeep Sharma; Bholi Devi, W/o Raj Kumar; Champa Devi W/o Parshotam Lal; Parshotam Lal S/o Gouri Shanker ; Sudesh w/o Baldev Raj;Mama Ram S/o Tirath Ram; Paul S/o Girdhari Lal; Santosh Kumari W/o Ram Lal; Pushpa Rani, W/o Daleep Singh; Raj Kumar, son of Sain Dass; Daleep Singh, S/o Kartar Singh all residents of Karalia; Swarno, W/o Om Parkash, R/o Shah Pur; Bimla Devi, W/o shiv Lal, R/o Shapur; Sansar chand, S/o Sadha Ram, R/oKaralian; Rani Devi, W/o Sewa Ram, R/o Vijaypur; Sewa Ram, S/o Tirath Ram, R/o Vijaypur and Neelam Devi, W/o Babu Ram, R/o Vijaypur.
In another road accident a Truck bearing registration number JK02AG/ 7459 driven by Raji sharma, S/o Krishan Lal, R/o Nai Basti Akhnmoor on way from Jammu to Srinagar rolled down at Peera falling under the jurisdiction of police station Chanderkote, resulting injuries to driver. Injured rushed to hospital for treatment.
In yet another road mishap a Truck bearing registration number JK02F/3429 on way from Barahagalla to Surankote met with an accident at Bhunikhat Kote, resulting injuries to four persons namely Ab. Majid, S/o Shah Jhan; Mohd Shaqoor, S/o Sad Mohd, R/o Marna; Nasreen Akhter, D/o yar Mohd and Rashida Begum, W/o Yar Mohd, residents of Barahagala. Injured were rushed to SDH Surankote.
Meanwhile seven persons undergoing treatment at GMC hospital after sustaining injuries in various road mishaps are identified as Ravinder Singh, son of Ram Singh, resident of Marjali; Sanjay Sharma, son of Nanak Chand, resident of Akhnoor; Ravi Kumar, son of Somnath, resident of Jawahar Nagar Rajouri; Sudesh, son of Mir Chand, resident of Jib Thathi Udhampur; Ashok Kumar, son of Gian Chand; Kamleshwar, son of Hans Raj, residents of Patori Sunderbani; Rajeev Kumar, son of Om Parkash, resident of Udhampur and Ab. Rashid, son of Ab. Gani. |
