Jammu Municipal Corporation held a meeting to discuss the problems being faced by the corporation regarding the sanitation work. The chairman, Public Health & Sanitation Committee, Hon’ble members, Corporators, officers & officials of the Jammu Municipal Corporation attending the meeting.
The supervisory staff of the JMC has been directed to ensure the proper sanitation in their respective wards in particular so that no epidemic shall spread during rainy season.
It was also assured by the Municipal administration that 3 to 4 No’s vehicles shall be purchased for lifting of garbage during current financial year and moreover 500 No’s of daily wage safaikaramcharies already engaged as T.D.L & P.D.L shall be regularized against the post of safaikaramcharies and priority shall be given to the incumbents already working with NGO / contractors.
In the meeting, to provide a smooth functioning of health wing of JMC and in the interest of public health in general helpline has been established to mitigate the grievance of the public contact No’s are 94192-09781, 94191-40951 & 2547440. |
