| Another jolt to PDP, Jammu East wing resigns | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 10 Enraged over the anti-national instances of the Chief whip of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), the entire Jammu East wing of the party as also state vice-president of PDP Youth wing resigned today. As per a handout issued today, a meeting of the East Zone of the party was held today under the leadership of Nagesh Sharma, zonal president, wherein it was decided to quit the party for its anti-Jammu stand. Addressing the meeting, Nagesh Sharma and Rajesh Bhat, state vice-president of Youth Wing alleged that Parton of PDP, Mufti Mohd Sayeed while coming to power as Chief Minister had assured of equal treatment to all the three regions of the state in all spheares but nothing happened on the ground. They lamented that the recent revoking of the land transfer order of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) has badly hurt the sentiments of the people of Jammu as well as people of the whole country. Among those resigned from the party include Sanjeev Dharmath (president Ward No. 10), Sunil Sharma (president Ward No. 1), Sanjay Kerni (president Ward No. 11), Rajesh Sharma (president Ward No. 3) and Arjun Kumar (president Ward No. 2). |
