Director School Education, Jammu Mr. A.K. Raina has constituted a committee comprising Chief Education Officer, Udhampur, Principal, DIET, Udhampur, Principal Government Higher Secondary School for Boys, Udhampur and Assistant Executive Engineer, PWD, Udhampur for preparing a detailed factual report regarding damaged portion of school building of Government Higher Secondary School( Boys), Udhampur.
It is pertinent to mention here that a portion of Government Higher Secondary School for Boys, Udhampur was collapsed at 1.40 P.M during working hours on July 9, 2008.
The Director accompanied by Chief Education Officer, Udhampur Mr. V.M. Raina inspected the damaged portion of school building and instructed for constitution of a committee on the spot. He also visited District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Udhampur and addressed ZRCs and CRPs besides inspecting Government High School, Battal Ballian and ZEO Office, Tikri. |
