The newly appointed director Horticulture, J L Sharma urged upon all chief Horticulture officers of the region to organize awareness camps in their respective districts to educate the farmers with regard to latest technology for scientific orchard management.
Addressing the first meeting of Horticulture officers, after assuming charge from Dr. M.S. Qasba, he asked the officers to work in their jurisdiction efficiently for close interaction with fruit growers and make them aware about the various programmes and incentives available for Horticulture development. |
