| Samba lacks development: Satwant Kour | | | Early Times Reporter Samba | July 10 Satwant Kour Dogra, a prominent social worker of the district today visited for flung areas of the district including villages of Bani and Chakla. While addressing public meeting she said that the upsurge of the Jammuites against the Congress led Government is not against any religion or region. She said that revocation of land allotted to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board by Ghulam Nabi Azad and his Cabinet Ministers has been done in a conspiracy hatched by Congress with PDP, NC and Pro Pakistan fundamentalists hurting the sentiments of Jammuites. She said they are fully responsible for hurting the sentiments of crores of nationalists. She said that Jammuites has made it clear that they can not be taken for granted on the issue related to their faith and belief, and the fully supported the cause and demands that land should be restored to Shrine Board. While criticizing the government and local MLA as no development has taken place in Samba Constituency are still struggling for basis amenities even after the independence of 60 years. There are many villages where still people drink water from ponds and chhapads. She said her basic objective is development of Samba and believes that people can only progress if they have basic amenities at their disposal. |
