| Shortage of essential commodities flayed | | | Early Times Reporter Inderwal | July 10 Abdul Karim Wani, National Conference leader in a statement issued here today has expressed concern over the acute shortage of essential commodities in the area. He said there is total collapse of the district administration and the district authorities have utterly failed to provide basic amenities to the people of this far of area. He alleged ration depots are empty and the inhabitants of the areas are facing hardships without any ration. The nomads living on higher reaches of the area are the worst sufferers as they are without any ration for the last couple of months together, he said. The condition of the Sub-District Hospitals and dispensaries in the area are more than worst with no staff, no life saving drugs, no common medicines etc, he said adding that all this has further added to the woes of the people of the areas. NC leader has also strongly condemned the attack on Balbir Jamwal Correspondent Danik Jagran and Zee Kashmir by some CRPF personnel of 74 Battalion at Kuleed camp at Kishtwar. He demanded that case against the accused should be registered and stern action be taken against them. He later also visited District Hospital, Kishtwar to enquire about the well-being of the injured correspondent. |
