| Sadhu arrested for rape | | |

Jammu |July 11: A sadhu was arrested for allegedly raping a woman in Rajouri district, police said here today.
Tara Chand, a sadhu, allegedly raped a 26-year old woman at Kheora area in Dharhal tehsil last night. He lured the woman on the pretext that she would give birth to a male child with his blessings, police said.
The victim later narrated the incident to villagers, who caught hold of Chand and handed him over to the police.
Police have registered a case against the accused.
