| Imposition of Governor’s rule hailed | | Seth urges Vohra to withdraw all lucrative facilities from outgoing ministers, legislators | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu July 11- Hailing the imposition of Governor’s rule, a senior BJP leader Onkar Seth has demanded withdrawal of all the lucrative facilities provided to the outgoing ministers and the legislators of the dissolved Assembly.
Referring to the reports about large scale misuse of government vehicles by the outgoing ministers and legislators, Seth said that about 500 government vehicles are still with these politicians including about 230 with the ministers. He demanded immediate withdrawal of these vehicles from the outgoing ministers and legislators.
The BJP leader also demanded immediate vacation of government buildings allotted to various ministers and legislators and allotment of same to the serving government officers who are putting up in rented houses. This measure, he said, would help save crores of rupees which were being spent for the luxury of these politicians.
